LA Jolla residence

This residence was envisioned as a fun loving, character-rich retreat within the city. Just a hop from the beach in La Jolla, the goal was to add a second story, to create a space that felt youthful and fresh, balancing a coastal aesthetic with a modern and slightly maximalistic personality.   What a fun space for a young, growing family.  Our client's talented mom hand-makes beautiful custom pottery, look closely and you'll spy plate, mugs, and a couple super cute ceramic pigs.  We love projects with a personal touch.
